story of the Shelby family on the rise in Birmingham , England. The name
“Peaky Blinders” comes from the real life practice of seeing razor blades

ice cold , calculating criminal mastermind that leads the Shelby family.
He’s a World War I hero, suffering from PTSD. His character is
surrounded by mystique and comes with many flaws. Starting off as a
small time street gangster , he challenged the lords of Birmingham’s
criminal world and succeeded over and over again against all odds. His
nemesis, Alfie Solomons, a Jewish gangster with a powerful enterprise,
played by Tom Hardy. Their relationship is paradoxical. They need to
work together on occasions to survive and yet they are sworn enemies.
The Shelby’s grow their empire as the show progress from street
violence to bribery , extortion and trafficking. As new enemies appear,
there is a constant shift in power. The series ends on a high note with a
cliffhanger.
